About the Franklin Utd Junior and Youth Programme
U10, U11 & U12 Mixed and Girls teams train 2 nights a week with Junior programme coaches.
U14 & U16 Girls teams train 2 nights a week with Youth programme coaches.
U13, U14, U15 & U17 Mixed teams train 3 nights a week with Youth programme coaches.

All teams train in Drury, playing home games at Drury Sports Complex and away games across Auckland.

Junior and Youth Programme Trial Sessions
Interested players are welcome to attend trial sessions in early February. They are invited to register online for their correct age group from early January.
This does not commit players for the season, nor guarantee a team place. There are 3 trial sessions and players are encourged to attend all or as many as possible. If they are unable to attend any trial session due to mitgating circumstances, they may still register and the Head of Football will consider the application.

Mixed Teams available for players born between 2008-2015: U10 - 2015 U11 - 2014 U12 - 2013 U13 - 2012 U14 - 2011 U15 - 2010 U17 - 2008 to 2009
Girls Teams available for female players born between 2008-2016: U10 - 2014 to 2016 U14 - 2010 to 2012 U16 - 2008 to 2010
Trial Dates:
- Tuesday, February 11th
- Thursday, February 13th
- Tuesday February 18th
Location: Drury Sports Complex, Victoria St, Drury.
Times:
- 4:30pm-5:30pm for Junior Mixed teams U10, U11 & U12 and Girls U10
- 5:45pm-7:00pm for Youth Mixed teams U13-U17 and Girls U14 & U16

FEES 2025
If selected to represent Franklin United this season, the programme participation costs are as follows:
U10-U12 Junior and Girls U10, U14 & U16 teams: $800
U13-U17 Mixed teams: $1200
Fees are an annual amount that covers all training sessions Terms 1-4, as well as all Club, NRF & NZF registration fees.
Payment is due in full by 1st March.
Payment plan options are available but must be applied for in writing for Board approval before 1st March once accepted into a Team.

KIT FOR TRAINING & GAME DAYS
The Franklin Lotto training kit is available from the online Club Shop or instore at The Uniform Shoppe Pukekohe
Players must wear full training kit (Franklin black shirt, shorts and socks) to all training sessions. The black shorts are also used for game days.
For game days, Franklin red shirts are loaned to players for the season.
Juniors U10-U12 wear Lotto black socks. Youth U13-U17 wear Lotto red socks. Lotto sells sock sleeves if players prefer to wear grip socks.
The online Club Shop has the training kit, sock options and Off Field gear including jackets, hoodies and track suits.
Lotto collates the Off Field apparel orders to processes intermittently so please expect a delay of 8-10 weeks.

FAQs
What is the Franklin United Junior and Youth Programme? Franklin Utd was established to provide the opportunity for ambitious local footballers to follow an elite footballing pathway (All Whites, National leagues, USA University Scholarships, etc.).
Who and what ages does the Junior and Youth programme cater for? We offer training for 9-12 year olds in the Junior programme (U10-U12 teams) and 13-18 year olds in the Youth programme (U13-U17 teams).
Where do the Youth teams play? The Youth teams will play for Franklin United in the highest NRF competition possible.
Can you be part of the Junior and Youth programme but still play for your club? There are opportunities for players who just want to be exposed to the talent programme development, but also play with their friends at their local club (not for Franklin United).
Are there trials? Yes - the main trials are held in early February. We do welcome players to trial during year, please email us to ask about this.
Are payment plans available? Yes, payment plans are available but must be arranged prior to starting, with Board approval. Payment is still required in advance of each Term, not paid belatedly.
